Three Years Later: Where Our Graduates Stand

We stayed in touch with participants from our 2021 and 2022 programs. Here's what consistent practice and skill development can look like over time.

When I joined in 2022, I dreaded presenting budget reports. My slides were dense with numbers, and I could see executives checking their phones during my presentations. The program taught me to start with the business impact, not the spreadsheet.

Three years later: I regularly present to the C-suite, and they actually ask follow-up questions. My team says I'm the first finance manager who makes budget meetings interesting.

Board meetings used to be adversarial. I'd present numbers, they'd question everything, and we'd leave frustrated. Learning to frame financial discussions as collaborative problem-solving changed the entire dynamic.

Now leading our company through a major expansion. The board trusts my financial guidance because they understand my reasoning. We make decisions together instead of in opposition.

I was terrified of investor calls. My voice would shake when discussing quarterly results, and I relied heavily on prepared scripts. The program helped me understand that confidence comes from clarity, not perfection.

Recently handled our Series B pitch to investors. They praised our transparent communication style and said our financial presentation was refreshingly honest about both opportunities and challenges.

My team used to avoid coming to me with budget questions. I realized I was speaking in financial jargon that made them feel stupid. Learning to translate finance-speak into business language transformed our working relationships.

My department has become a trusted advisor to other teams. People actually seek out our input early in their planning process instead of avoiding us until the last minute.

How We Build These Skills Together

This isn't a lecture series where you sit and take notes. We use real scenarios from your workplace, practice in small groups, and get individual feedback on your specific communication challenges. You'll leave with techniques you can apply immediately.

Our next 12-week program starts September 2025, with evening sessions designed for working professionals. We keep groups small – maximum 15 participants – so everyone gets personal attention.
